Bands that know how to party

Grand Central Station Band are easily one of my favorite wedding bands in upstate New York. Tremendous fun. Paul DeBiase and the guys never fail to deliver. And, unlike some bands, they're all incredibly friendly, not an ounce of arrogance or attitude. They really love their job. I would hire them in a heartbeat for any event, especially a wedding, if you're looking for a non-stop party. They’re in Albany, but just worked with them at a wedding in Syracuse last fall. Plus, they are incredibly affordable as bands go.

An excellent (four-piece) band are The Audiostars. www.theaudiostars.com Jay Yager is the chap in charge (think a younger version of Mick Jagger) and a wonderful man to work with. High energy party fun all the way. They don't do boring and dull.

The Master Cylinders www.themastercylinders.com Jimmy Wilcox is the band leader. Wonderful friend and colleague I've know for years. He used to be with Blue Oyster Cult (Google if you don't know your oldies). His band are exceptional and not your typical wedding band. Nothing average or ordinary. They play all the ski resorts in Vermont and New York. This is definitely a party band AND extremely talented and fun. (518) 791-3267 Jimmy’s email jcwilcox@nycap
